Did you know that astronauts in space face challenges similar to those of people who are beginning to age on Earth?

The ASTROPOWER Project studies these similarities and will test an innovative solution: listening to the sound of muscle electrical activity during training.

And you can be part of this research!

📌 How can you participate?

You can sign up as an assistant for the training sessions.

In this role, you will:

  • Help collect physiological data (EMG, ACC, and strength).
  • Assist participants in performing power training.
  • Always work with prior training and supervision from a researcher.

📅 Commitment: 

2x a week in a total of 1 hour, during 1 month and a half.

Accompanying one of the study subjects at the building of the Almada Senior University (USALMA).
